Lucy Lathrope
Coach Lucy, by morning and night. By day, Lucy is Operations Manager at Torpedo 7 which keeps her extremely busy outside of her training. Lucy has been training at Formula Fit for the past 5 years and through her years of training both at Formula Fit and within other facilities she has learnt the values of metabolic training, HIIT and other disciplines which have lead her on her journey of fitness.
As a fan of anything with a barbell and fitness, you’ll most likely find Lucy in a competitive setting with a Barbell overhead and a piece of cardio equipment, likely a spin bike, not too far away! Lucy loves training in the gym but also enjoys the outdoors and anything physical.
When it comes to getting fit and strong you have to want it, you have to plan for it and make it fit into your day. You have to be mentally tough, you need to have people around you to help you on your journey.

Everyone knows exercise is vital if you want to live a healthy life, I love training in the gym but also enjoy the outdoors and anything physical. Learning to surf was a big challenge of mine over summer. When it comes to getting physically fit and strong you have to want it, you have to plan for it, you have to fit it into a busy day. You have to be mentally tough, you need to use others to help you. The hard part isn’t getting your body in shape it’s getting your mind in shape.
